Do startups or companies hire a marketeer without an MBA degree?

Thank you for the invite. Yes companies do hire non MBA for marketing role. I have seen so many smart non MBA people exceling in marketing. As I always mention that if your perspectives are in allignment with role or employer's perceptions from the person you can find yourself fit in any department. Though it is easy to train MBA graduates but for any role people who can deliver results are best qualified no matter what degree they hold.

We live in the times of change along with experiential marketing that goes above and beyond the idea of sticking to the rule books.

I am of an opinion that smart hiring managers & companies no longer look at an MBA or related degrees as a deal breaker but rather have someone on board who is willing to take ownership and one who possesses the right skill set and expertise to educate the market, re-educate and drive the end user to experience the product/service.
