You can refer to UBC97 Chapter16 or IBC2012. But its better to have a micro-zonation map / data of the area so that actual seismic parameters may be used yielding more realistic results.
Refer to the seismic Loads code for the region in question. ex. ( ASCE, IBC, SBC, ... )
