In Architecture, is it better to make a 3D object drawing in Autocad in stead of 3D Studio max, what is you preference?

when you use presspull or extrude in autocad you create a solid object which is bad for the size of the file you are working on  , in3D max you draw a surface instead

 i guess for the architect3D max is better for3d modeling also for the render option Max has
