I would like to highlight that usually there is no difference.
But both terms have slightly different meaning in different circles.
Inspection means checking the characteristics of a product to ensure that conformity to a set of specifications is met.
Sometimes it means checking100% of a batch of product; sometimes it means checking only some samples (in that latter case, it is exactly the same as "statistical quality control".
Quality control usually means only checking the conformity of products already made.
It comprises inspection and other tests such as labtests.
Some people use quality control to designate some more upstream activities that aim at preventing quality issues (usually these activities are called "quality assurance").

I would have to disagree with the Fakher answer.

The Quality Control uses statistical techniques to plan, and interrupt the inspection results.

When you inspect, you are looking for conforming or nonconforming

but the quality control starts with sampling plan, what is your sampling percentage is it5%,10%,15% ..etc? to descide, you need a background in statistical methods.

The quality control also starts by determining the process capability. how to set tolaerance and conforming level is not part of the inspection.
