Risk assessment has a broader scope, as it can involve risks associated with time, cost, scope, quality, environment, etc. JSA has a limited scope, as it involves job-specific safety risks and is frequently part of a Method Statement. Having said that, risk assessment, JSA and JHA are used interchangeably in health and safety management.
