Always reply to a customer inquiry within maximum48 hours. Be fully informed about your product and prepared for any question. Always talk professional because the customer isn't your friend. You should represent your company and yourself in the best way and make the right follow up when needed. Always make the customer feels that he is a VIP and he's your top priority and that should apply on each and every customer. If you couldn't solve the issue, refer it to a senior and if it will take time, make a call to inform them about the status of their inquiry. Keep them informed about your new events, products and activities if any.
