Hello, Mr.
Muhammad.
Would you believe me if I said that I like to see the Landscape manually presented?! because it gives it a more realistic affection and it raises the architectural sense.
However, this is very rare to see now, we need other means to help us design fast and accurately.
All the Programs mentioned above can be helpful and useful, the designer uses what helps apply their imaginary ideas.
Let me add (Photoshop) because it gives a great affection in designing layouts, top views and landscaping, the same way we use Photoshop to present the furniture of a plan, or an elevation.
Thank you for inviting me.

It isn't the software that will make you a good Landscape designer, it is your culture and knowledge.
Who taught that software is the basic or the fundaments for it, is totally wrong.
You have Technical draftsman who design and read architecture charts....but they aren't architects or they can't design as one, as they knowledge is based on working good only on software and understand charts.
Landscape architects requires a large knowledge of Biology as Architecture ,but usually Landscape are required to deal with the outside green spaces, how to plan a urban Park for example.
Study the Central Park in NY and its conception by Frederick Law Olmsted e Calvert Vaux.
Start to read the some manuals too, Neufert Book has a very good section on plants and what trees to use in certain areas.
You can research on Parque da Cidade, in Porto Portugal, it's one of the amazing parks ever built, and its based on Central Park.
Its near the sea, which makes even harder to choose the right Greens( plants, trees, flowers, grass) due to the proximity of the sea.

My experience in landscape design isn't much, but I think you should start to read some guides for landscape and ICC for landscape.
Also it’s better to review and study landscape project, which is already has been constructed, also start developing your skills in Autocad, Photoshop &3D MAX, and to watch tutorials vedios, register in some internet forums, and read each program reference & help.
Best Regards.

From my point of view is basic to have knowledge of Autocad, Photoshop &3D MAX, but the most important is to develop the talent to analyze the space environment and the requirements.
Also is critical to have topography skills.
Next step is to study about the materials, plants and soil properties(special for M.E landscapes) and to develop the knowledge about the lighting and Watering plants systems.
Regards.
