Professional certification requires (1) academic degree (preferably bachelor), (2) rigorous study and passing the certification exam and (3) hand on training on procurement as certified by the supervisor and nature of job

For procurement job, diversified as well as relevant experience is necessary.

So, now-a-days, professional certification and diversified experience are most important for procurement professional

This is an interesting question. For procurement professional all the three mentioned points are equally important. The reasons are-

1. Academic degree: it will help you in getting your first job as a procurement guy. There is a certain level of required education which ensure your entry as a procurement guy in the organization.

2. Diversified Experience: After entering into the organization, the person can achieve required experiences based on which he can move forward towards the top level of the organogram.

3. Professional Certification: If a person wants to move forward, professional certification helps him in improving his career image in the organization.

Thus, to me all the three points are equally important.
