An employee from another department is dissatisfied with the performance appraisal, How could you handle it as a H.R Manager?

i will first meet with that guy for knowing his/her points of dissatisfaction then counsel for his/her misunderstandings and wrong thinking. If he/she will be right then definitely i will discuss with his/her manager to get the issue resolved on merit.
