Does the "content-aware" functionality in Photoshop really makes things easier for designers?

I have tried using the this new functionality when editing some of the pictures I took. It DID help in simple operations that needed editing but did an extremely bad job in other. Designers, what do you advise?

I was a part of Adobe Webinar, where Abhishek Mukherjee - Product Specialist, from Adobe explained this feature.
Since then I am using it in my project and it is very helpful.
I don't need to keep brushing off or stamping off the images.

You don't need to use a clone tool. but it depends how you use the content aware; for me it can be helpful to most of my work specially in photography and photo manipulation. makes work easier and faster using that tool..... I love that tool.. :-)
