I would ensure that the assignee and their family knows that I am there for them throughout the relocation process and that they can rely on me and my knowledge. I would make them feel comfortable with every aspect of the relocation policy which is applicable to them and to ensure that if they have a problem that a suitable resolution is found.  Its important to me that you form a relationship with them from the first phone call or meeting.  From experience, you need to ensure that if the assignee is stressed that it is not personal and you need to try and relieve that stress. They will always feel comfortable if you have answers to all their questions.

I should show that I'm there not to achieve a record but to SERVE. Clients- specially in this field - have no complete idea about how the process of charging or estimating goes on. Client should feel free and safe towards the surveyor when it comes to inquiries and required details. My presentation for my company is also a huge deal in getting the job accomplished " How we pack. handle, and relocate the house hold goods and personal effects. Breaking the ice is one of the most important manners that surveyor should own beside his straight clear character.
