As per my previous work using stone columns technique and my readings about the use of stone columns technique, it is an improvement technique not a foundation it just improves the ground strength properties in order to withstand the proposed applied pressure from shallow foundations (isolated footings and or raft) you can only check the improvement ratio anticipated from a chosen arrangements and the initial condition of the soil.
this means that you shall have an improved ground condition and strength parameters which can be used to check the anticipated bearing capacity and / or the corresponding ground settlement to compare with the desired allowable values and check the safety margin.
