Correction of cone TL-1

I have a lathe tool TL-1 and would like to learn how to use the offset cone. How could shift the cone in the program? Is the correction is only possible in the case of rectilinear motion? Do you have a cone0.0508 mm (0.002 inch) along the entire length of the offset should be set to0.0254 mm (0.001 inch) per side, or0.0508 mm (0.002 inch) for the whole?

In the absence of support for the workpiece using the lathe with a length to diameter ratio greater than3: 1, it can lead to rebound during punching. This enlarged diameter portion of the front element (Z0). Reflection can occur when punching OD and ID. Correction of cone provides the ability to correct after reflection by adding the values in the table correction cone. The value entered is the size of the required adjustment of the diameter of an inch. Example1: For the part of the cone 0.0254 mm (0.001 inches) for the length of 10.16 cm (4 inches), divide the total volume of a cone by cutting the length to determine the size of the adjustment: 0.0254 mm / 10.16 cm = 0.00635 mm (0.001 inch / 4 inch = 0.00025 inches) (this value must be entered into the table for the used computational tools). Example2: For the part of the cone 0.0762 mm (0.003 inches) for the length of 10.16 cm (10 inches), divide the total volume of a cone by cutting the length to determine the size of the adjustment: 0.0762 mm / 10.16 cm = 0.000762 mm (0.003 inches / 10 inches = 0.00003 inches) (this value must be entered into the table for the used computational tools). Correction of the cone is the same with wear adjustment tool tip. If the result is positive, the result is greater than the diameter of the end of the Z0; If the result is negative, the result is a smaller diameter at the end of Z0. Below are the rules for the correction of the cone: the program should be included in G41 or G42 with the relevant definition tip to activate; adjustment will be applied only for straight paths and tools for full-length cutting; correction will be applied in diameter; positive values are set in the direction from the center line of the spindle; negative values are set in the direction of the center line of the spindle. Note: If you set 33 Yasnac mode is enabled, the value of the cone is given for the radius, not the diameter.

The good question was answered by the good explanation from Tomazs

Tomasz asks and Tomasz answers the question and everybody hits the "like" button. This place is turning into a big mess indeed.

By the way, both, the question and answer are both out there in CNC forums.
