What’s the biggest negative or most serious impact on employees when leadership is poor?

LACK OF VISION======   NO DISCIPLINE ,  NO GROWTH , NO CREATIVITY , NO ACHIEVEMENTS , NO SYSTEM , NO MANAGEMENT , ONLY TIME PASS.........

Employess will lose Momentum,dissatisfaction,interest in their tasks/works with poor leadership and altimately effect the company productivity.

companies should train,coach and reward the leaders so they build good relationship with their subordinates.

with this scenario, expect a future DEATH of the company.   without proper motivation... the employees will stay in the company just beacause of the salary they get not aiming for professional growth.

impact on employees when leadership is poor : 1. Confusion, misundersatnding 2. Unable to bond to a common org goal / cause 3. Follow the leader viz poor performance 4. Misalignment of "do what you say, say what you mean, mean what you do" 5. Erosion of Integrity, professional values, work ethics etc 6. Communication from the "leadership" is disregarded, ignored, viewed skeptically. 7. Unpredictable business performance 8. Employee engagement / employee satisfaction

The impact of poor leadership can be directly seen in the performance of the group employees you might be speaking of. As you look at each process employees touch, those are or can be impacted. And generally, everything about an employee's job will be impacted. It would be interesting to measure such thing with a group of seasoned employees with poor management, versus a group of relatively new and inexperienced. The seasoned employees may have an edge because they know the processes, procedures, and what kinds of performance are expected.

Poor Leadership makes subordinates feeling lost in the middle of the desert with no guide to follow.

Poor leadership leads to no vision presence and accordingly it`s the fastest way for loosing interest and feeling incomfortable to work.

Leadership is a key to tie the whole chain upand go the extra mie.

I WOULD LIKE TO SAY IF MANAGEMENT OR LEADERSHIP IS POOR THAN IT IS WASTING OUR TIME TO THINK ABOUT THE NEGATIVE OR POSITIVE IMPACTS ON EMPLOYEES, BECAUSE BEFORE THE TURN COME TO THINK OVER THEM, THE ORGANIZATON MIGHT HAVE BEEN CLOSED

Poor leadership will lead to low morale and confidence in subordinates which would directly result in a decrease in productivity.

The serious impact is performance degradation/ reduction of the employees. The employees will not able to present their best competencies which they have.

Poor leadership will be a serious demotivating factor as far as employees are concerned. Good leaders train their subordinates, recognize and reward their good performance, support them in  difficult  situations, provide them with a purposeful direction to work and give them opportunities to utilize their unique capabilities, thereby enabling them to grow professionally. Without good leaders, the full potential of the employees  cannot be realized.
