Poor leadership will lead to low morale and confidence in subordinates which would directly result in a decrease in productivity.
The serious impact is performance degradation/ reduction of the employees. The employees will not able to present their best competencies which they have.
Poor leadership will be a serious demotivating factor as far as employees are concerned. Good leaders train their subordinates, recognize and reward their good performance, support them in difficult situations, provide them with a purposeful direction to work and give them opportunities to utilize their unique capabilities, thereby enabling them to grow professionally. Without good leaders, the full potential of the employees cannot be realized.
