Nursing an elderly person is like nursing any other patient who requires nursing services, but it is important to realise that geriatric patients response to any form of treatment is gradually slowing down than of a pediatric patient.

therefore, nursing this individual needs patience, one activity at a time, avoiding many drugs at a time, or vigorous exercises at once. It must be in the mind of the nurse that healing of a geriatric patient takes a bit longer than expected in an average person.
