If the receiver is very much interested in getting employed in this company, would take a chance and confirm the availability for the interview on the date stated. Otherwise, after reading the phrase about receiving the e-mail message in error, will not have much hopes on the opportunity. Company-wise, this is not a satisfactory notification since it gives impression that the company has responded with no proper scheduling about the applicants.
