Business Area is an Organisational unit within the company that represents specific areas of operation or responsibilities in a Business Organization. The definition of Business Area is optional.
If we want to create financial statements at a specific areas of operations in a company, we can create multiple business areas.
As Business areas are INDEPENDENT of company, we cannot assign Business Areas directly to Company in SAP.
