I need to wipe a bunch of 500gb hard drives. i have been using dban & kill@disk before, but just wondering if anyone has a better recommendation?‎

i prefer HDShredder or Killdisk  , but there are lots of other softwares too..

i think you are talking about secure erase hard drive i think the best way by the application provided by hard drive manufacture you can go to hard drive manufacture webs ... الإطلاع على المزيد

What is OS your using? If you using linux/unix, from cmd line you can type cmd : rm -f /name folder or name file you want wipe/delete.

Use windows installer, go dos prompt , cmd, type diskpart, then list disk, select disk, type clean , then exit
