2- Who is going to come for the event ? (audience)

4- How do I target the audience ?
5- What is the credential of the organizer ?
6- Who else is sponsoring the event ?
7- What is the cost ? Does it justify the benefit ?

The best way to get sponsorship for a event is to show the patron how's he going to get benefits from it, specially monetary part.

To have a campaign serve somehow their target audience and they will get benefits of it in the short term.
