Which of the two versions tackle workplace: i treats people as you want to be treated, or treats everyone like he wants to be treated?

treat them on your level,,, do not go to their mental level.

LIKE HE/SHE WANTS TO BE TREATED,,THATS WHAT HE DESERVE,,,NEVER GIVE ANY ONE MORE THAN HE CAN DIGEST ,your goodness.

Treat people the way you wanted to be treated. 

Treat others as you woud like to be treated by them. It is very important to treat everyone with respect and dignity irrespective of post/position.

Nothing substitutes the fact each person at whatever level needs to be treated with respect while maintaining the ethics of the workplace too
