you have got to listen and acknowledge carefully to their feedback towards anything even if it was about you and not to react negatively .
also focus on their career development and make sure everyone has his/her career goals set and they work towards achieving it under your supervision as long as they are outperforming , they need to feel that their outstanding performance is recognized and you think people as well as business .
Trust also is very important as they need to feel that they are trust worthy team members , making decisions collaboratively , share information openly .
And finally Mutual respect has to be there .
