Asking and answering questions is a form of active learning that has a place within any workplace. Questions asked by the managers can involve employees more fully in leading to deeper understanding of an organization. Questions asked by employees offer an opportunity to clarify work duties and they also provide feedback for the managers.
You can tell whether a person is clever by his answers. You can tell whether a person is wise by his questions
Asking questions or answering answers. they both are associated to the amount of knowledge you have about any topic. And in an absolute situation, no one can ever have enough knowledge to answer any and every question about that relative topic.Also by doing both, I mean answering and asking question is better, cause when you answer a question, you refresh the information about that topic. and while asking questions, you are making yourself capable to position yourself to give better answers.
In my opinion both are important. Both are the way of learning and getting knowledge. If a person asks a question who's answer is known to him, he receives different answers based on pieces of knowledge and experience, and this way he broadens his knowledge more. On the other hand a person who wish to answer a question, tries to know the required information for putting a best answer, and this way he also gets knowledge. So both asking questions, and putting answers, are important.
Both are of equal importance depending on the need, requirement and situation.
Asking quistions.What i think is Knowledge is meant to be gain and no one is perfect. So better ask quistions and gain more knowledge.
A person who doesn't ask or seek knowledge, usually doesn't have depth in his words.
As Mr. Zubair Qureshi has defined it, asking questions and answering questions are both good and important as well, because a person who doesn't seek knowledge can not answer with full depth and dimensions. For example, on bayt.com whenever we come across with a question, which we like to answer. First of all we read the answers by others, by this we get more depth in the topic and in return we become able to cover more dimensions of the topic in our answers.
When asking a question you are looking to further your knowledge. When answering a question you are demonstrating your knowledge. Neither can be described as the "best" as they are "stand alone" depending on circumstances. On this particular forum I do actually prefer answering questions as a way to keep my brain active, I struggle to ask meaninigful questions to the same standard as the majority of contributors!!!!
When it comes to an effective communication, it means that a clear message was sent to the receiver and a clear answer was sent to the sender, therefore asking and answering a question are both mutual useful as long as a clear and helpful info is shared.
question for gaining knowledge and answer for sharing knowledge...both are good things
