If i want to chose between Brocade & cisco Switches, what is the most important Questions I should ask myself before take the decision

I would like to select the device based on Hardware architecture and numbceer of open standard feature.

Like How many packet a device can process like pps (packet per second) or future investent security like support of SDN and MCEC or New Feature like VPC and VSS VDC.

Compatibility & Reliability that's it.
