For whom working with SD module - SAP , could depends on it only for spare parts analysis or need to use MM module with it ? and if you have a choice to choose module to control your invoices with ship to party and in the same time handle material management ,, what to do ?
I think that MM module is the core of SAP, you should intergate it with SD module to achieve the target you want.
