Well in my opinion, it has to be original, easy to describe, archive a good effect and it must suit the target audience. And very important, it must be adaptable and flexible.

A logo is what is going to represent the company in many manners......
Some logos have to be made in such a way that it should speak what the company does ,its platform etc.
Some should be creative that it creates a brand idea , answering just from google is not enough....think dudes....
