Use Ac 220 for energized ups . 2nd rectifier Ac supply convert in to DC supply 12 v ----> for charge battery ----> from battery 12 volt DC supply to Inverter . Then Inverter out put 12 V Ac supply ----> to filter . After filter 12v Ac supply ----> to Step up transformer out put 220 v Ac produce again..

An Uninterrupted Power Supply is employed for critical loads which cannot be powered directly by utility supply (mains).
