Is there a difference in use between Master Card and Visa Card?

Visa and Mastercard are two major vendors of debit/credit cards. Other vendors are maestro, American Express etc. The usage is more or less similar at the PoS. A PoS needs to have access to both Visa and Master Card vendors to be able to accept both these cards.  

* as a consumer no different both you can use in any POS machine or ATM machine.

* as a a company the different between the visa & mastercard is the bank commission rate.
