An account manager is the person in charge to deal with the big clients. Depending on the size of the accounts (clients) you can have under your responsability one, two, three or more. I've been working a few years with only two clients. It can seem very easy, but you have to know absolutely all about them, not only of your products, about your competitors, prices, volumens, all.
