How to make the construct joint water tight in the water reservoir?

1) By using higher strength concrete with lower slump value and using proper compactor to avoid any defects (honeycombs etc.)

2) By using water stopper between foundation and walls of the reservoir.

3) By using special reinforcement bars at the corners and making concrete chamfer between foundation and walls.
