Consumer buying behavior refers to all the activities consumer get involved in before, during & after purchase of products.

TYPES

Complex buying behavior- consumers undertake complex buying behavior when they are highly involved in a purchase & percieve significant differences among brands.

Dissonance-reducing, consumers are involved in purchase of expensive, infrequent or risky purchase but see little difference among brands.

Habitual- low consumer involvment & little significance in brand differences.

Variety seeking- low consumer involvment but significant percieved brand differences, consumers do alot of brand switching.
