Hi, my field is about GIS. My question is for GIS developer why they are prefrence to .net framework rather than oracle?

 

GIS developer usually uses the development tools that are provided by the GIS software company that his organization uses its software.

 

For example, If the organization uses ESRI software, then the developer will most probably use ArcEngine, ArcRuntime, and ESRI web APIs. Such tools are compatible with .Net framework.
