Landscaping and hardscaping are like two sides of the same garden coin! Landscaping involves the living elements of your yard, like grass, trees, and flowers. It's all about the greenery and how it's arranged. Hardscaping, on the other hand, is the non-living stuff - think patios, walkways, and retaining walls. It's about creating structure and form in your outdoor space. I learned this distinction when I revamped my backyard. I hired expert irrigation to help out.
