Describe how you would handle the situation if you met resistance when introducing a new idea or policy to a team or work group?

First, I would ask for the reason of who resist for the new idea or policy and what his or she's idea, maybe he or she have a better suggestion and recommendations, I will accept but  I will explain as per SOP, we have to follow what the management decision upon implementing the new policy.
