With my all respect to you, wise people, would you recommend concentrating on the needs (and popular things) on the market or should I create something remarkably different? Obviously, second one is out of comfort zone,risky - but it may pay off.

Even designer of haute couture has to build their reputation based on the wearability of their pret a porter collection. I would express my individuality through creating something that the market needs. like a wow design of a lamp that i can sell in ikea :)
