How to perceived as a good listener when talking to a potential customer?

if he/she talking lees and give the customer more chances to talk and respect the persons level and skills, if he/she think before talk and avoiding interrupted during the others talking,if he/she avoiding the useless talk for just talk ,if he/sh brief .
