What are main advantages from "leading from behind"?

Nelson Mandela said: 

 

It is better to lead from behind and to put others in front, especially when you celebrate victory when nice things occur. You take the front line when there is danger. Then people will appreciate your leadership

A leader initially leads from the front by organizing the team helping them see the goal and showing them how to get there. Then, he leads from the middle by working WITH the team, motivating and lending guidance when needed.  The leader can start leading from behind when the team has "matured" and in full stride. It is in this phase where he exercises monitoring and control to make sure that the team is on the right track and on schedule. It is also in this stage where the team is given the realization that their leader is already confident that they have "matured" and cohesed as a unit and can realistically achieve a common goal. This breeds confidence in the team in its ability to perform and deliver and return trust that was given.

while a leader should form strategies and guide team to adopt tactics . should give total freedom for the ront line team to think and deliver and not mud swiddle always . A leader should just monitor for reults and alllow individuals the freedom to deliver results .

One of the main responsibilities of leaders is ; let others thought that they achieved the victory . directing the team toward achieving goals is an (Objective) for a leader and playing on chord of who achieved the goals is very important to team , always he have to let them thinking that they gain the game and achieving what should they to achieve and he stand behind watching the celebrating ((in this way you will give them self-trust)) and push them more to do more.
