The concept remains the same.

During project management, a project manager exercises a limited scope of HRM.

The P.M. deals with;

hiring

training and developing

motivating

controlling employees within project scope.

The P.M. does not deals with;

employee benefit program

legal issues etc.

A project manager must be able to identify different personalities, behaviour, management, leadership, different motivating tools and theories etc.

This is very important facet of a P.M. in order to keep project team intact and effective.
