Ofcourse It Makes difference.

When you are doing preventive maintenance you are curing your Machine or whatever you are trying to maintain

"An Penny on Prevention is better than a Dollar on Maintenance (Breakdown)"

Yes, of course preventive maintenance reduces the chances of accident as well as major breakdown. It is better to take preventive maintenance for any type of industry for smooth running. At last it can be say "prevention is better than cure."

Yes.preventive maintenance programme is very important for the age of tools and equipments this maintenance reduce the loss when it happend.

Of course it works. Checking your equipments and machines timely reduces the risk factors and dead time. In Manufacturing industries dead time leads to heavy loss and FMCG companies did not compromise on their productivity so for them PM is a good tool.

Only Preventive Program doesn't' help.  Program with timely ACTION helps.

Yes ,of scourse preventive maintenance is are curing your Machines.Yoy must checking your equipments and machine timely.

I think we should correct the phrase. The maintenance reduce the probability of failure or default & not from accidents to occur (while it might too).

definitely we can control some accidents by filling daily preventive maintenance checklist etc
