What are the differences putting vertical longitudinal bracings in the middle or at the ends of steel frame structure?

There is no difference, because the role of the bracing  is to support the wind effort coming from the hole structure by transferring it to the foundation so the condition is that the bracing is related to the ground not about his positioning.
