Our client: a leading FMCG firm is looking to hire an Assistant Manager Trade Marketing team that facilitates business expansion through careful analysis of data, timely and clear communication with pertinent stakeholders, and proposing strategies to achieve Point of Purchase (POP) objectives.
The role: Conduct thorough analyses to generate insightful findings for business development. Assist Sales Management in promptly and effectively conveying sales targets and business priorities to the sales team. Strategize, communicate, and monitor in-market activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and participate in monthly forecasting. Scrutinize expenditures and communicate suggestions for optimizing return on investment (ROI). Assess market trends through competitor monitoring, pricing analysis, promotional opportunities, and communicate findings to relevant managers. Provide recommendations and action plans based on scan data/EPOS data analysis. Establish and uphold core distribution and merchandising guidelines tailored to different agencies and outlet types. Contribute to new business development endeavours as needed.
Must Haves: The ideal candidate should possess proficiency in leveraging data and analytics to propel business growth, specifically within the FMCG sector. They should demonstrate previous leadership experience, as they will oversee a team with direct reports. Experience in India is preferred, while additional exposure in the GCC/Oman region would be beneficial. A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in FMCG sales and analytical roles is required.
