Is leadership a gifted talent or something gained by years of experience?

I believe it is a gifted talent that with experience it will be more effective.

Talent should be created to perform in any task very efficiently and effectively. Gain year of experience would be perfect for the created talent. Without nursing talent will in dust bin.

Charismatic leaders are born yet leadership skills can be acquired with experience. Some traits like intuition, vision, large-heartedness are very tough nuts to crack.

In my point of view, its a bit of both from inate talent and experience.
