lot of matters to know first,,, product nature, industry , competition in the market, size of the market , competition resources , competition team size, etc

To answer this question you have to best understand your customers and competitors, then you can decide you strategy to deliver superior value than other competitors, based on customers' needs.  

Examples

If you have superior quality, you have to differentiate your product as a quality leader.

If your product’s price is more affordable, then differentiate your product as a price leader.

There are a lot of examples to help you, but all activities or programs should be designed and implemented to achieve your differentiation strategies, which leads to create a distinctive image in customers’ minds and justifications for customers to buy.

All activities or plans should reinforce the differentiation by using an effective positioning statement and value proposition theme.

Product Differentiation is important for Range Market Acceptance &  achieving set objectives.

It's an ongoing process & certain objectives should be laid , maintained & controlled:-

  • Ensuring product quality is maintained regularly thus 'creating an better brand image' on the potential/end consumer's mind.
  • Ensure product availability by ensuring products are listed across all key outlets, chains by increasing ND (Numerical Distribution)
  • Ensuring better package, design & attractiveness
  • Involving in different ATL activities such as Trade shows, exhibition, trade shows or trade events or fairs based on the product type to reach maximum popularity as well as communicating as well as creating an 'Brand Awareness" of the range
  • Carrying out Innovative BTL activities, sampling so as to make consumers get the 'First hand feel' of the brand
  • Carrying out promotion's, POS activities, creating & distribution of flyers & brochures etc 

Dear Mr ziyad thank you for your answer, As you have said that customer satisfaction is much needed in order to maintain a longterm relationship between your product and your customers specially that competition has become major at all markets and product reputation plays a big role to keep the consumer interest for buying your product , but what would you expect with your product sales achievement comparing to other competitors ? how you would be able to retain the same quality as longer ?
