Mtce schedule, can be periodic, annual, as against shut down maintenece or turn-around maintenance. Which option offer more cost savings and downtime?

turn around maintenance or sut down maintenance which include preventive rather than solving the problmes

I would go for manufacturer recomended maintenance schedule.Their goal is to avoid minor and major breakdown before reaching the next maintenance cycle and to prolong the service life of the equipment.
