As a Logistics manager What is your priority saving time or charges?

Saving time does not automatically save money, proper balance needs to be applied.

My Suggestion in this regard is saving both Time and Money . Because Time is Money. Adding to this we shoul proactively plan and escalate the same to our customers and service providers(3PL /Shippers) to avoid last minute hassles.

It's depend on case ,the nature of shopment and customers type. But as a best logostic manager every time I try to save both togather. Save time with money saving .Because if I prioritize to save time it will automaticaly save cost .

There are2 cases

1- Logistics Manger working in a non-logistics company uses3rd party logistics companies.

in this case the concentration will be on cost and time both.

 

2-Logistics Manager working in a logistics services company.

in this case it will be taken as case to case and the target is the satisfaction of the customers.

i prioritize on case to case basis, depending on the nature of shipment and it's expectency level. But usually I save charges.
