How will you react on your manager if she will turn over all her tasks to you, because she will be travelling abroad for a couple of years?

That would be a great opportunity to seize and a great challenge to prove myself at work.  I would accept, delegate some of my tasks to people under my supervision and take the challenge.  But isn't a couple of years a bit strange? a couple of years away from work and still keeping her job? which company will accept that? Maybe you mean the company itself sent her on a mission elsewhere and to be back to her job in a couple of years.....Anyway a new challenge is always good and healthy to acquire new skills and develop oneself.

TRY TO ACCOMPLISH THE WORK GIVEN BY THE REPORTING MANAGER SO THAT HE/SHE MAY GET IMPRESSED FROM YOU. IT WILL HELP IN YOUR CAREER GROWTH.

Accept the additional work responsibilities with enthusiasm. But do not forget to remind your boss of this during appraisal time.

First, I'll be so happy because my manager trust me to turn over her tasks to me and for sure I'll try to earn her trust by making a big efforts to manage this additional tasks.
