What would you do if some of your students don't respect and pay attention to your lectures simply because they think your are younger than they are?

It's a rare attitude as normally we don't see it in educational institutions. If it happens, simply ignore their attitude and concentrate on developing your teaching abilities. 

If you got succeeded in delivering better, they'll get convinced psychologically and  will mend their attitude.
