What are the major classes of an IP network?

there are Three famous  classes ip that every one Know :

  if the first octect has number between1:127 >> that class Aif the first octect has number between128:191 >> that class Bif the first octect has number between192:223 >> that class C

BUt there are class D and E Reserved for Scientific operation and Researches  if the first octect has number between224:239 >> that class D if the first octect has number between240:255 >> that class E That All I Know

 

Class A from10.0.0.0 :10.255.255.255

Class B from172.16.0.0 :172.31.255.255

Class C From192.168.0.0 :192.168.255.255

Apipa from 169.254.0.1 :169.254.255.254

You have3 major classes of an IP network.
A,B and C class.
A class has start adress of0.0.0.0 and the end adress of127.255.255.254.
B class is starting from128.0.0.0 to191.255.255.254.
C class is from192.0.0.0 to223.255.255.254.
