Yes I agree with this observation

 

Unfortunately, the majority of people are oriented towards the products and services, and tend to ignore or understimate the marketing/sales side.

 

Let me share with you my own recepie for success in doing business

  1. Be Market Driven   (Not Product/Service driven)
  2. Be Customer Focused (It is not what you are pushing on the customer, it is the customer deciding what is needed)
  3. Adopt Processes and Process Management in all related activities

You may recall with me the saying .. if I have10 Dollars to spend, I would spend1 $ on the product and9 $ on its maketing.
