The3 Biggest Challenges You Will Face Developing Your Business  Ego: The saying is played out but “check your ego at the door” if you want to build a successful business. The best leaders in the world acknowledge and embrace their strengths and weaknesses. They reflect on their weaknesses and build a team around them that delivers the complimentary skill sets needed to complete the planned objectives. They VALUE the expertise of their employees and EMPOWER them to use their talents in a fulfilling manner.  Indecision: This is a big one. Because you are at the top of the organizational chart, you make the final decision. It gets lonely at the top. Remember, you are at the top of that chart for a reason. Keep your ego in check but exude confidence. Make decisions when they need to be made.

 

Unexpected Problems:  As a leader, you have to be able to resolve conflict. It’s your job. Conflict resolution is a skill that relies on experience and training. Conflict resolution uses all types of leadership techniques. You have to actively listen, gather information, evaluate consequences and make decisions. As a business leader, you will be confronted with problems every day. It is your job to solve the problems based on what will help the overall company succeed.
