Skill in Communications.

Once your skill in communications is developed to a high degree , you can be very effective in any managerial work of your chosen career as your superiors as well as your colleagues can understand your messages very well and instructions to your subordinates  & people are received clearly.

We have to take note that high degree of  communications skill requires the following abilities and attributes;

a) Excellent command of English or the required language or medium of communication in a

company.

b) Can reply appropriately to the question being asked or make comment fitting to the issue being discussed in a meeting or conversation.

c) In cases of urgency, alertness is needed to make decisions and communicate to announce that important message immediately to concerned people of the organization.

d) Competence not only in all aspects of your own job but also has knowledge in other related works and well-versed with the work flow, procedures and rules in the organization.

e) Professional in dealing with superiors and colleagues and knows how to deal with rank & file employees. 

if you have an excellent communications skill, you will be very effective in performing your work as a manager, leader and a high-ranking officer.

I would say PLANNING! 

 

Without planning, no matter what skills or tools you have, you will always end up messing with the project, either waste time and resources on the start, or deliver late, etc. Therefore, planning is most important to me!

Management is a set of skills that should be used all together to have appropriate and sufficient outcomes. These skills are connected like a chaine, and missing one might affect others, however If I want to choose one I would say "Decision Making" Skill could be the most important one !
